Other activities
- Preparatory courses for the admission exam
The Integrated Master's Degree Programme in Medicine and Surgery organises preparatory courses for the Admission Exam every year.
- Introduction to each Academic Year
At the beginning of each academic year, each Year Coordinator holds an introductory session for students on the theoretical and practical activities. Specifically, a presentation is organised annually for first-year students, covering the main features of the degree programme (Study Plan, attendance requirements, administrative procedures, etc.). During this event, the Internship Committee Coordinator and the first-year Internship Coordinator provide a detailed overview of the internship activities.
- Presentation of elective courses
Additionally, at the start of each academic year, the degree programme presents the elective courses (TAF D) available to students for that academic year.
- Orientation activities for final year students (years V and VI)
The degree programme organises orientation activities for students enrolled in the fifth and sixth years. These activities aim to inform students about various post-graduation educational and career opportunities, enabling them to make informed decisions. For sixth-year students, a series of lectures and peer-to-peer sessions are held to introduce the different possible career paths after graduation. These sessions cover topics such as community medicine, medical specialisation schools, the Medical Council, Ceformed, and General Practitioners.
Starting from the 2025/26 academic year, 2 ECTS of Curricular Internship will be dedicated to an "Orientation Internship." This will enhance fifth- and sixth-year students' knowledge of post-graduation paths. For sixth-year students, this internship will align with the activities mentioned above, while for fifth-year students, it will focus on exploring potential professional pathways.
