Non-competitive admission with initial proficiency assessment before enrolment

Curricular Requirements
The course has open access if you meet the following conditions:
- Degree Classification and Subject Area:
You have obtained a degree classification of 90/110 or higher and hold a degree in one of the following subject areas:- Economics and Business Management Sciences (L-18)
- Economic Sciences (L-33)
- Economics and Business Management Sciences (L-17)
- Economic Sciences (L-28)
- Four-year degrees under the previous regulations (pre-Ministerial Decree 509/99, consult departmental regulations).
- Other Degree Classes:
If you hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a different subject area, you may still qualify with a minimum grade of 90/110, provided you have obtained at least 36 CFU in the following academic disciplines (SSD):- 12 CFU in Business disciplines (SSD: SECS-P/07 to SECS-P/11)
- 8 CFU in Economics (SSD: SECS-P/01 to SECS-P/06)
- 8 CFU in Mathematical-Statistical fields (SSD: SECS-S/01 to SECS-S/06; MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/09)
- 8 CFU in Legal fields (SSD: IUS/01, IUS/04, IUS/05, IUS/07, IUS/09, IUS/10, IUS/12, IUS/13, IUS/14).
If you do not meet one or more of these conditions, a dedicated Commission will assess your academic and professional background. The evaluation will include a review of your CV and academic record, using objective criteria and the documentation submitted for prior assessment of your career as outlined in the Academic Regulations. You may be required to acquire additional CFU in specific subject areas before enrolment.
Language requirement
To enrol, you must demonstrate an English proficiency level of at least B2 (Common European Framework). This requirement can be fulfilled by presenting an appropriate language certification.
If you do not possess the certification at the time of enrolment, you may still register. However, you must obtain the certification by the end of your first year of studies. The list of accepted certifications is available in the Course Regulations.
- If you have yet to obtain the required qualification
If you have not yet obtained the qualification required for admission:
- start anyway the Enrolment Process
- submit additional documentation: include a self-declaration listing completed and pending exams and your curriculum studiorum, if applicable.
- pay the first instalment of tuition fees:
This will allow you to attend lectures and access Digital Teaching resources. Upon obtaining your degree, you must re-enter the online procedure, enter the missing details and promptly inform the relevant section of the Admissions Office via email.
Your enrolment will be finalised, and you will receive your matriculation number only after providing all required documentation.
There are 2 admission requirement verification and subsequent enrolment windows, depending on the date the degree granting access to the course is obtained.
You can submit the enrolment application only after completing the requirement verification process and receiving a confirmation email.
Enrolment Deadlines for A.Y. 2024/2025
- 1st window – For graduates by 15 November 2024:
- Submission of evaluation request: from 3 June to 15 November 2024
- Enrolment: by 20 December 2024
- 2nd window – For graduates between 16 November 2024 and 28 March 2025:
- Submission of evaluation request: from 7 January to 14 February 2025
- Enrolment: by 31 March 2025
If you miss the first enrolment deadline of 20 December 2024, you may still enrol by 31 March 2025. However, a late enrolment fee will apply as outlined in the Fees Notice.
Procedure
- Register for the assessment:
Access the Online Student Service (Esse3) and follow this path: Menu > Home > Admission Test (programmed access and master’s degrees)- Select the Test (Competition) for this programme and upload the following completed documents in the Attachments section:
- A valid ID document (front and back)
- A self-declaration of your qualification, including completed exams (not a certificate)
- The self-assessment questionnaire in Excel format, available at the bottom of this page
- Select the Test (Competition) for this programme and upload the following completed documents in the Attachments section:
- Verification of Preparation: follow the methods described in the dedicated section
- Wait for the verification result: you will receive the result by email. If you are admitted, proceed as outlined in the Online Procedure (Esse3) section.
Enrolment
Within deadlines
Access the Online Student Service (Esse3)
- Start the procedure for enrolment applications
Menu > Home > Enrolment
- Complete the required fields and upload the necessary documents:
- Valid identity document in PDF format (front and back)
If you log in using SPID, this will not be required - Supplementary enrolment form (at the bottom of this page)
- Passport-sized photo in JPEG format, NO SELFIES (refer to the requirements)
- Residence permit or proof of application (for non-EU citizens only)
- Valid identity document in PDF format (front and back)
- Pay the first instalment of university fees. This confirms your pre-enrolment.
Within 2 working days of payment, the university's digital services will be activated, limited to Microsoft Teams, to enable access to lectures.
- Wait for the confirmation email
Within a few days, you will receive an email confirming your enrolment. Your student number will then be visible in your Reserved Area on Esse3.
Within two working days of receiving confirmation of your enrolment, you will have full access to the University's digital services (including your institutional email account and the MyUniTS app).
- If you have yet to obtain the required qualification
If you have not yet obtained the qualification required for admission:
- start anyway the Enrolment Process
