Syllabus

- Integrate clinical knowledge, laboratory and radiology notions, to learn how to make diagnoses. - Practice an effective diagnostic approach through clinical scenarios. - Acquire technical and non-technical skills.

Knowledge of the previous years of teaching materials.

- Development of knowledge of the physiopathological bases of diseases - methodology of clinical reasoning. - introduce students to the concept of interdisciplinary work in medical practice and shared clinical reasoning with an integrated approach.

Contents of clinical scenarios, multidisciplinary meetings. Text: Harrison, Principles of Internal Medicine. Slides and teaching materials will be provided through the Moodle platform.

The program of clinical scenarios and meetings is communicated during the year, in agreement with the reference teachers of the course year.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY MEETINGS. Multidisciplinary seminars on large clinical issues with the simultaneous participation of several teachers of organ and apparatus pathologies illustrating, in addition to the cultural content of their discipline, the specific theme of the seminar, the developments of the most recent knowledge, highlighting the need for multidisciplinary knowledge for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Additional information will be provided via the Moodle platform (https://moodle2.units.it/) in the course webpage.

The assessment will be carried out in the form of a single written exam for the entire course with multiple choice questions. The exam will be held in the classroom using moodle. The exam will last 25 minutes. 20-21 points = excellent (excellent knowledge) 17-19 points = distinguished (very good knowledge) 14-16 points = good (good knowledge) 13 points = fair (fairly good knowledge) 12 points = sufficient (sufficient knowledge)

This course explores topics closely related to one or more objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
