  • Why choose this course?

    This Course is unique in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and gives students a solid foundation in chemistry and strong laboratory experience. Graduates from this course go on to work in related sectors or continue their studies.

  • Educational objectives

    Students are provided with foundations in mathematics and physics as well as the fundamentals of analytical, organic, physical, general and inorganic, industrial, and macromolecular chemistry. Through laboratory work, students gain experience with experimental techniques, software for operating experimental equipment and the use of databases.

  • Career prospects

    Chemistry graduates will find ample career prospects in industry, research, control and analysis laboratories, in the fields of synthesis and characterisation of new materials, health, food, environment and energy, and in the conservation of cultural heritage.

  • Final examination and degree

    Graduates obtain a bachelor’s degree (EQF 6) valid at national level and also recognised at an international level. The final examination takes the form of a written thesis on an area of chemical research or its industrial applications and presents bibliographical research or short periods of experimental activity.
