Cohort 2024-25

To obtain all the credits required for graduation, you will also need to acquire those related to the following learning activities:

  • Additional language skills: 1 CFU
  • IT and telematic skills: 2 CFU
  • Internship: 6 CFU
  • Other skills useful for entering the job market: 1 CFU

The credits for additional language skills and IT and telematic skills are earned through the mandatory course "Elements of Scientific Writing", offered in the 3rd year.

You can earn the credits for other skills useful for entering the job market by participating in the following activities:

  • "Analytical Technical Reporting for Business Procedures and Consulting" course: 1 CFU.
  • Seminars on professional topics in applied chemistry (up to 3 CFU). The seminar calendar is published at the beginning of the first semester. To have the credits recognised, get the speakers to sign the credit recognition application form for other activities and send the completed form to the Teaching Office and the Course Coordinator.
  • Workshops organised by Department. Participation is confirmed either by passing a final test (if applicable) or by submitting a report on the event's content. To have the credits recognised, have the organiser sign the credit recognition application form for other activities and submit it to the Teaching Office, along with the test result or the report.
  • Participation in career orientation activities organised by the University or other institutions, documented with a certificate of attendance. To have the credits recognised, have the organiser sign the credit recognition application form for other activities and submit it to the Teaching Office, together with the test result or a report.
    • The course "Building a Future in Chemistry", organised annually by Federchimica, awards 1 CFU upon successful completion of the final test. The test is conducted directly by the Course Coordinator, who submits the activity to the Board of Studies for approval.
  • Volunteering at the "Trieste Next" event is also an option. With proper documentation, this activity allows you to earn 1 CFU. This activity is recorded by the Student Careers Office.
Cohorts 2022-23 and 2023-24

  • Additional language skills: 1 CFU
  • IT and telematic skills: 2 CFU
  • Other skills useful for entering the job market: 3 CFU
