General objective: To reduce the spread of genital infections, improve the sexual and reproductive health of the population and prevent the complications associated with these infections.

Education and awareness:
Conduct awareness and education campaigns on genital infections, including information on modes of transmission, risk factors, signs and symptoms, consequences and preventive measures.
Provide accurate and accessible information on sexual and reproductive health, including prevention methods such as condom use, vaccination and diagnostic testing.
Primary prevention:
Promote the correct and consistent use of condoms during sexual intercourse to prevent the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Provide STI counseling and testing services, including the promotion of early diagnosis and prompt treatment.
Offer vaccinations to prevent genital infections, such as the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine and the hepatitis B vaccine.
Screening and early diagnosis:
Implement screening programs for genital infections, which may include laboratory tests, clinical examinations and questionnaires to identify individuals at risk.
Ensure access to accurate and reliable diagnostic tests, as well as timely treatment for those who test positive.
Treatment and management of infections:
Provide appropriate, guideline-based medical care for genital infections, including treatment protocols for different STIs.
Ensure access to effective and low-cost medicines for the treatment of genital infections.
Promote couples therapy and partner participation in treatment programs to reduce the risk of reinfection.
Epidemiological monitoring:
Collect accurate epidemiological data on genital infections, including incidence rates, prevalence, and geographic distribution.
Conduct surveillance surveys to identify trends and new challenges related to genital infections.
Use epidemiological data to guide public health policy planning and implementation decisions.
Interprofessional collaboration:
Promote collaboration between the different actors of the health system, including doctors, nurses, health professionals, educators and civil society organizations, to address the problem of genital infections in an integrated way.
Collaborate with educational institutions, youth organizations and other partners to provide information and services on sexual and reproductive health in the

oral lessons

on the basis of the oral exams, the student will be deemed suitable (approved) or unsuitable (not approved) to pass the exam
To obtain approval, the student must demonstrate that he is able to know the main urogenital infections, must demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic procedures and copunsellin and therapy standards and know how to expose the short and long-term risks of these pathologies
