Syllabus
The course aims to provide the basic tools for reading and interpreting the main demographic phenomena.

The course introduces some topics related to the measurement of demographic phenomena.
Lecture notes
The demographic characteristics of Italy are illustrated in a comparative key with those of other countries. In particular, the following topics are covered: Sources; the concepts of individual, cohort and population; elementary measures of demographic processes. Particular attention will be paid to demographic analysis methodologies in the medical nursing field.
