Syllabus

The course aims to prepare well-informed healthcare professionals about the regulations governing workplace safety.
D1. Knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course, the student will have to demonstrate knowledge of the rules and guidelines for the professional activity of dental hygienist. Safe working procedures. prevention of the proper use of collective and personal protection
D2. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding 

At the end of the course, the student must be able to find, recognize and interpret a normative text and / or a guideline for the safety of dental hygienist
D3. Making judgements 

At the end of the course, the student must be able to analyze and propose organizational choices for safety in healthcare
D4: Communication skills.
At the end of the course, the student must be able to demonstrate the concepts of knowledge and ability to understand safety in healthcare settings.
D5. Learning skills: By the end of the course, the student should be able to independently deepen the topics covered and also be able to transfer the concepts learned to subsequent courses.

The evaluation of the student includes a written test (29 multiple-choice questions and one short-answer question), and possible tests in progress in which questions concerning the course program are proposed. The student must demonstrate that he has achieved the learning objectives of the course. The exam score is attributed by means of a vote expressed out of thirty. To pass the exam (18/30) the student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the topics. To achieve the maximum score (30/30 cum laude), the student must demonstrate that he has acquired an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered.
