Scholarship

To contribute to making the right to education effective, taking into account income conditions and enhancing merit, the University of Trieste establishes scholarships and graduation awards, also funded by other public entities and private donations. It also provides additional contributions (e.g., for off-site student accommodation, STEM courses) based on ministerial funding.

Scholarships are awarded for study and research activities yet to be undertaken, while awards are granted based on completed academic achievements and work (e.g., dissertations, doctoral theses).

The University of Trieste offers a wide range of scholarships to support students in their academic journey. Scholarships are granted for upcoming study and research activities, while awards are based on academic achievements and completed work (e.g., dissertations, doctoral theses).

The University’s scholarships aim to encourage university attendance and support those in difficult economic circumstances. Through these opportunities, the University seeks to promote inclusion and value talent.

In addition to the scholarships offered by the University, ARDiS (Regional Agency for the Right to Education) provides further financial support tools for both university students and those enrolled in other higher education pathways. ARDiS scholarships are allocated based on economic and merit criteria, offering concrete assistance to cover study-related expenses such as university fees, educational materials, and accommodation.
