To enrol in this programme, you must have obtained a degree grade of at least 90/110 in one of the following degree classes:

• Bachelor's degree belonging to one of the following ministerial classes:
  • Class of Economic Sciences (L-33)
  • Class of Economics and Business Management Sciences (L-18)
  • Degree in the corresponding classes under Ministerial Decree 509/99 (L-28/L-17)
  • Four-year degree under the previous system (prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99)
  • Equivalent qualification obtained abroad

If you hold a foreign qualification, please refer to the dedicated information for International Students to verify the validity of your degree and the specific admission requirements.

All of the following requirements must be met:

• Any Bachelor's degree (Ministerial Decree 270/04 or Ministerial Decree 509/99)
• A degree grade of at least 90/110
• The specified ECTS credits (CFU) in the following subject areas:
  • Business area: at least 6 ECTS (SSD: from SECS-P/07 to SECS-P/11)
  • Economics area: at least 12 ECTS (SSD: from SECS-P/01 to SECS-P/06)
  • Legal area: at least 6 ECTS (SSD: IUS/01, IUS/04, IUS/05, IUS/07, IUS/09, IUS/10, IUS/12, IUS/13, IUS/14)
  • Mathematical-statistical area: at least 9 ECTS (SSD: from SECS-S/01 to SECS-S/06; MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/09)

If one or more of the above conditions are not met, a dedicated Commission chaired by the Coordinator will assess whether the minimum curricular requirements and adequate personal preparation for admission are satisfied. Following this assessment, which will be conducted by reviewing the candidate’s curriculum vitae et studiorum based on objective elements (documents submitted for the preliminary evaluation of the academic career), the Commission may require the candidate to obtain additional ECTS credits in specific subject areas before enrolment.

Language requirements

Students wishing to enrol in the Master’s Degree in Economics, Environment and Development must demonstrate English language proficiency at B2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), certified by an appropriate language qualification.

The list of recognised certifications and the methods for fulfilling the admission requirement are provided in Annex D of the Teaching Regulations. Students who do not meet the language requirement are still allowed to enrol; however, the certification must be obtained by the deadline specified in the enrolment procedures.

If you have yet to obtain the required qualification

You can request an assessment of your preparation even if you are a graduating student and expect to obtain your degree by the specified dates.

There are 2 admission requirement verification and subsequent enrolment windows, depending on the date the degree granting access to the course is obtained.
You can submit the enrolment application only after completing the requirement verification process and receiving a confirmation email.

Enrolment Deadlines for A.Y. 2024/2025

• 1st window – For graduates by 15 November 2024:
  • Submission of evaluation request: from 3 June to 15 November 2024
  • Enrolment: by 20 December 2024
• 2nd window – For graduates between 16 November 2024 and 28 March 2025:
  • Submission of evaluation request: from 7 January to 14 February 2025
  • Enrolment: by 31 March 2025

If you miss the first enrolment deadline of 20 December 2024, you may still enrol by 31 March 2025. However, a late enrolment fee will apply as outlined in the Fees Notice.

Procedure

1. Register for the assessment:
   Access the Online Student Service (Esse3) and follow this path: Menu > Home > Admission Test (programmed access and master’s degrees)
   • Select the Test (Competition) for this programme and upload the following completed documents in the Attachments section:
     • A valid ID document (front and back)
     • A self-declaration of your qualification, including completed exams (not a certificate)
     • The self-assessment questionnaire in Excel format, available at the bottom of this page
        
2. Verification of Preparation: follow the methods described in the dedicated section
    
3. Wait for the verification result: you will receive the result by email. If you are admitted, proceed as outlined in the Online Procedure (Esse3) section.

Enrolment

Within deadlines

Access the Online Student Service (Esse3)

1. Start the procedure for enrolment applications
   Menu > Home > Enrolment
    
2. Complete the required fields and upload the necessary documents:
   • Valid identity document in PDF format (front and back)
     If you log in using SPID, this will not be required
   • Supplementary enrolment form (at the bottom of this page)
   • Passport-sized photo in JPEG format, NO SELFIES (refer to the requirements)
   • Residence permit or proof of application (for non-EU citizens only)
      
3. Pay the first instalment of university fees. This confirms your pre-enrolment.
   Within 2 working days of payment, the university's digital services will be activated, limited to Microsoft Teams, to enable access to lectures.
    
4. Wait for the confirmation email
   Within a few days, you will receive an email confirming your enrolment. Your student number will then be visible in your Reserved Area on Esse3.
   Within two working days of receiving confirmation of your enrolment, you will have full access to the University's digital services (including your institutional email account and the MyUniTS app).

If you have yet to obtain the required qualification

If you have not yet obtained the qualification required for admission:

1. start anyway the Enrolment Process
2. submit additional documentation: include a self-declaration listing completed and pending exams and your curriculum studiorum, if applicable.
3. pay the first instalment of tuition fees:

This will allow you to attend lectures and access Digital Teaching resources. Upon obtaining your degree, you must re-enter the online procedure, enter the missing details and promptly inform the relevant section of the Admissions Office via email.

Your enrolment will be finalised, and you will receive your matriculation number only after providing all required documentation.
