Why choose this course?
The Course develops economic and interdisciplinary skills. The curriculum in Italian analyses industrial organisation, and market structures and their dynamics, while the curriculum in English focuses on environmental economics, the circularity of production and agri-food systems, and sustainability in the energy and transport sectors.

Educational objectives
Graduates of this Course will understand the functioning of markets and their interactions with the natural and social environment as well as the role of public decision making, and economic, monetary, industrial and labour policies. Graduates will also be able to perform advanced quantitative analysis of economic and environmental phenomena.

Career prospects
The Course prepares graduates for a career in liberal or consultancy professions, as market analysts, managers, executives and officials in private companies or public bodies (research institutes, sector authorities, international organisations) and experts on sustainability issues in production sectors.

Final examination and degree
At the end of the Course, the University issues a master’s degree (EQF 7) which is valid at a national level and recognised at an international level. The final mark is out of 110. The final examination consists of the defence of an experimental thesis in front of a board of examiners.
