To enrol in this programme, you must meet one of the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences and Technologies (L-30) or equivalent qualifications under Ministerial Decree 509/99 or 270/04.
  • If you have a foreign degree, consult the information dedicated to International Students to verify the validity of your qualification and the specific admission requirements.
• Bachelor's degree with a given number of CFU earned as follows:
  • At least 15 CFU in MAT/05, MAT/03, INF/01
  • At least 30 CFU in FIS/01, FIS/02, FIS/03, FIS/04

If you do not have the required CFU credits, enrolment may be conditional upon acquiring the missing credits also through enrollment in individual courses and passing the relevant examination.

If you have yet to obtain the required qualification

If you have not yet obtained the qualification required for admission:

1. start anyway the Enrolment Process
2. submit additional documentation: include a self-declaration listing completed and pending exams and your curriculum studiorum, if applicable.
3. pay the first instalment of tuition fees:

This will allow you to attend lectures and access Digital Teaching resources. Upon obtaining your degree, you must re-enter the online procedure, enter the missing details and promptly inform the relevant section of the Admissions Office via email.

Your enrolment will be finalised, and you will receive your matriculation number only after providing all required documentation.

There are 2 admission requirement verification and subsequent enrolment windows, depending on the date the degree granting access to the course is obtained.
You can submit the enrolment application only after completing the requirement verification process and receiving a confirmation email.

Enrolment Deadlines for A.Y. 2024/2025

• 1st window – For graduates by 15 November 2024:
  • Submission of evaluation request: from 3 June to 15 November 2024
  • Enrolment: by 20 December 2024
• 2nd window – For graduates between 16 November 2024 and 28 March 2025:
  • Submission of evaluation request: from 7 January to 14 February 2025
  • Enrolment: by 31 March 2025

If you miss the first enrolment deadline of 20 December 2024, you may still enrol by 31 March 2025. However, a late enrolment fee will apply as outlined in the Fees Notice.

Assessment

Individual preparation is considered valid and sufficient if you meet the requirements and have a degree mark equal to or higher than 90/110 (or converted to this score, in the case of a foreign qualification).

If your degree mark is below 90/110, admission is subject to the evaluation of your academic background by the dedicated Admission Committee:

• If personal preparation is deemed adequate, admission is granted.
• If personal preparation is deemed inadequate, admission is denied.
• If personal preparation requires further assessment, you may be required to do an interview, which can also be conducted online. Based on the outcome of the interview, admission may be granted or denied.

Procedure

1. Register for the assessment:
   Access the Online Student Service (Esse3) and follow this path: Menu > Home > Admission Test (programmed access and master’s degrees)
   • Select the Test (Competition) for this programme and upload the following completed documents in the Attachments section:
     • A valid ID document (front and back)
     • A self-declaration of your qualification, including completed exams (not a certificate)
     • The self-assessment questionnaire in Excel format, available at the bottom of this page
        
2. Verification of Preparation: follow the methods described in the dedicated section
    
3. Wait for the verification result: you will receive the result by email. If you are admitted, proceed as outlined in the Online Procedure (Esse3) section.

Within deadlines

Access the Online Student Service (Esse3)

1. Start the procedure for enrolment applications
   Menu > Home > Enrolment
    
2. Complete the required fields and upload the necessary documents:
   • Valid identity document in PDF format (front and back)
     If you log in using SPID, this will not be required
   • Supplementary enrolment form (at the bottom of this page)
   • Passport-sized photo in JPEG format, NO SELFIES (refer to the requirements)
   • Residence permit or proof of application (for non-EU citizens only)
      
3. Pay the first instalment of university fees. This confirms your pre-enrolment.
   Within 2 working days of payment, the university's digital services will be activated, limited to Microsoft Teams, to enable access to lectures.
    
4. Wait for the confirmation email
   Within a few days, you will receive an email confirming your enrolment. Your student number will then be visible in your Reserved Area on Esse3.
   Within two working days of receiving confirmation of your enrolment, you will have full access to the University's digital services (including your institutional email account and the MyUniTS app).
