Syllabus

D1. Knowledge and understanding:
At the end of the course, students will have to demonstrate knowledge of the regulatory aspects that regulate temporary and mobile construction sites and the ability to manage design and inspection activities.
D2. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course, students must be able to identify the minimum safety requirements provided for by the reference legislation within a temporary construction site and to adopt any prevention and protection measures necessary for the safety of workers and any exposed third parties.
D3. Making judgements:
Considering the diversity and uniqueness of each temporary construction site, at the end of the course students must be able to establish, at the time of the design and inspection activities, which measures may be considered most effective to be adopted, in relation to health and safety, for the management of the specific construction site.
D4. Communication skills:
At the end of the course, students will be able to argue through the technical terminology acquired with the various site figures in the design, coordination and inspection activities.
D5. Learning skills:
At the end of the course, students must be able to go into detail about the topics covered independently and also must be able to update themselves in relation to the evolution of the technical regulations in the sector.

Definition of the temporary or mobile construction site in relation to Legislative Decree 81/2008
Characterization of the main site figures such as client, safety coordinator in the design phase and safety coordinator in the execution phase, contractor and executing company. Each figure identified is responsible for the relevant obligations in relation to health and safety in the workplace.
Design of a temporary construction site through the drafting of documents: Safety and Coordination Plan (PSC) which generally characterizes the construction site and the type of work subject to construction activities. Operational Safety Plan (POS), different for the individual activities of the selected executing companies. In addition to the drafting of PSC and POS, all workers present on the site must meet the minimum training requirements pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008.
Risk assessment within a temporary or mobile construction site and prevention and protection measures to be taken. Characteristics of prevention and protection systems with particular reference to falls from heights, distinction between collective and individual protective equipment.
How inspections are carried out within a construction site with a view to coordinating the activities in progress and supervising in relation to the minimum safety requirements established by current legislation.
Examples of the application of current legislation with an in-depth analysis of the technical notebooks produced by INAIL and the regional guidelines of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia
