Receive useful knowledge to develop good clinical skills and implantological therapeutic orientation.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: at the end of the course students will have to know and understand the main topics of rehabilitation implantology, prevention and monitoring of the main peri-implant diseases.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: at the end of the course, students will have to demonstrate knowledge and ability to understand the fundamental concepts and principles on which implant surgery and the prevention and therapy of peri-implant pathologies are based.
MAKING JUDGMENTS: at the end of the course students must be able to collect and interpret clinically relevant data providing appropriate clinical judgements.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: at the end of the course students must be able to communicate information, ideas and solutions to clinical problems to colleagues, patients and auxiliary staff.

teaching material on the Teams platform and scientific articles provided to students. Possibility of attending the Journal club of oral implantology and regenerative bone surgery which takes place weekly and to implant and regenerative surgery interventions. Link to moodle 2. The lessons are recorded and remain available to the student on the Teams platform

The student's evaluation includes an oral test in which open questions on general understanding of the subject are proposed, aimed at technical aspects and reasoning on hypothetical clinical cases.
The evaluation grid adopted is as follows:
- Excellent (30 - 30 cum laude): the student shows excellent knowledge of
topics, excellent language skills, excellent analytical ability; the
student is able to brilliantly apply theoretical knowledge to
concrete cases.
- Very good (27 - 29): the student shows good knowledge of
topics, notable language skills, good analytical ability; the
student is able to correctly apply theoretical knowledge to
concrete cases.
- Good (24-26): the student shows good knowledge of the main ones
arguments, good command of language; the student shows a
adequate ability to apply theoretical knowledge to concrete cases.
- Satisfactory (21-23): the student does not show full mastery of
main topics of teaching, despite possessing the knowledge
fundamentals; he however shows satisfactory language skills and
sufficient ability to apply theoretical knowledge to concrete cases.
- Sufficient (18-20): the student shows minimal knowledge of
main topics of teaching and technical language, limited
ability to adequately apply theoretical knowledge to cases
concrete.
- Insufficient: the student does not have acceptable knowledge of
contents of the different topics of the program.
The oral implant surgery module will confer a grade that cannot be rejected by the student which will contribute via a weighted average to the final grade of the integrated course. The average is weighted in relation to the credits of the module. Praise is worth 1 point (31). If the average of the integrated course is > 30.5, honors is given. The exam session will be scheduled on Esse3 and the grades will be recorded on Esse3 and available to the integrated course coordinator. The duration of validity of the module grade is three sessions from the end of the 2nd semester (extraordinary session).
The score of the exam is attributed by means of a mark expressed out of thirty. To pass the exam, the student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the program topics. To achieve the maximum score, the student must demonstrate that he has acquired excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course by answering all the questions correctly.
