The objectives of the course are:
• Knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course, students will be able to understand the relationship between social and cultural aspects of communicative events
• Applying knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course the students will be able to recognize different structures of participation;
• Making judgments: At the end of the course the students will be able to recognize different communicative situations;
• Communication skills: At the end of the course the students will be able to express in an appropriate way, using a specific language, the concepts learned during the course.
• Learning skills: At the end of the course the students will be able to apply the knowledge, skills and competences learned, through the critical analysis of scientific research.

In this module, le communicative development is analyzed in relation to the participant structure of persons, during childhood, according to an ecological cultural perspective of development. The relationship between cognition, speech and social function on linguistic development will be addressed.
The course includes lectures, the analysis of articles, video material, moments of elaboration in groups through a Research-based teaching methodology. Students will be able to carry out some activities using Padlet [Paldlet- https://it.padlet.com/dashboard].
The classes are held in person and are recorded. The recordings are available on the University platform MS Teams for 12 months, starting from the end of each individual lesson.
The final exam will consist of a single assessment for the integrated course, evaluating knowledge and skills related to all modules. This module will be assessed in the written exam (2 hours) through two open-ended questions regarding the content of the lessons.
2 open questions in 1 hour about the program discussed during the lessons.The questions will be evaluated on the basis of the following criteria: relevance and mastery of the contents of the answer with respect to the question asked; presence-relevance of scientific references; completeness of the answer.
