Safety courses are mandatory for all students in the medical and healthcare fields from the first year of study.

The study plan includes the course Prevention and Safety in Care Settings, which is a prerequisite for the first-year internship exam. Passing the Workplace Safety and Radiation Protection module (12 hours) is required to attend the internship.

Health surveillance

Health surveillance is mandatory for all students in the Degree courses of the Department of Medical, Surgical, and Health Sciences, and for those with curricular activities that involve access to laboratories (e.g., chemistry, biology).

Other requirements

Information Document on Risks in ASUGI and Acknowledgment of Risks in ASUGI
In the 1st year of your course, you must read the Information Document on Risks in ASUGI and submit the completed and signed Acknowledgment of Risks in ASUGI according to the procedures indicated by the teaching tutors.

Authorisation for the Processing of Personal Data – ASUGI
In 1st first year of study, you will need to read and sign the Personal Data Processing Authorisation Document – ASUGI and submit it according to the procedures indicated by the teaching tutors.

Identification Badge
The identification badge must be displayed for any university activity conducted outside the lecture halls, especially in hospital and healthcare facilities. 
To obtain the badge, you must send a clear photo of your face via email to cdl.infermeristica@units.it, specifying your full name in the email text.
