Exam sessions: dates and format

CFU recovery exams take place for each course on at least two dates and are completed in time to allow enrolment in the second semester.

To sit exams, please remember that:

  • you must register for the exam session via the Online Student Service (Esse3)
    Menu>Exams>Register for Exams
  • you must bring a valid ID
  • mobile phones and other electronic devices must be deposited along with your personal belongings before the start of the exam
Physics

Exam format

  • 31 multiple-choice questions
  • Only one correct answer out of five options; no penalty for incorrect answers
  • Use of non-scientific calculator allowed
  • Duration: 75 minutes

Venue and schedule of the exams

The exams will take place in the Aula Magna of Building H3 on the following dates:

  • 2 February, 9.00 am
  • 16 February, 9.00 am
Biology

Exam format

  • 31 multiple-choice questions
  • Only one correct answer out of five options; no penalty for incorrect answers
  • Duration: 60 minutes

Venue and schedule of the exams

The exams will take place in the Aula Magna of Building H3 on the following dates:

  • 4 February, 3.00 pm
  • 18 February, 9.00 am
Chemistry and fundamentals of biochemistry

Exam format

  • 31 multiple-choice questions
  • Only one correct answer out of five options; no penalty for incorrect answers
  • Duration: 60 minutes

The exams will take place in the Aula Magna of Building H3 on the following dates:

  • 3 February, 9.00 am
  • 17 February, 3.00 pm

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD): Additional time is granted

  • Candidates with disabilities: up to 50% extra time
  • Candidates with SLD and Special Educational Needs (SEN): up to 30% extra time
