  • Why choose this course?

    This Course teaches students basic mathematics according to a modern vision of the discipline, as well as the fundamentals of physics and computer science. The course is divided into two curriculums: general mathematics and mathematics education. Both curriculums give graduates a solid knowledge and a broad range of skills in mathematics.

  • Educational objectives

    Graduates are competent specialists in mathematics with an interdisciplinary education. They are able to immediately enter the world of work or to continue their studies with a master's degree.

  • Career prospects

    Graduates are capable of managing complex situations that require clear reasoning schemes in the fields of data analysis, modelling, financial mathematics or computer science. They obtain a qualification that gives them access to teaching or to a career in scientific outreach.

  • Final examination and degree

    Graduates obtain a bachelor’s degree (EQF 6) which certifies the skills acquired by the student, valid at national level and recognised at an international level. The final mark is given out of 110. The final examination consists of writing a short thesis and defending it in a public seminar.
