Class schedule

Classes are held across two semesters:

  • First semester: from 28 September 2026 to 23 December 2026
  • Second semester: from 1 March 2027 to 28 May 2027
  • Breaks and closures:
    • Christmas holiday closure: from 24 December 2026 to 6 January 2027
    • Easter holiday closure: from 25 to 30 March 2027
    • Classes are suspended on 2-3 November 2026 and 7-8 December 2026

Preparatory Course in Mathematics and Physics

Before the official start of classes in September, the Department offers a preparatory course in Mathematics and Physics. The course will cover typical topics from secondary school programmes, which are useful for understanding the subjects taught during the first year of your studies.

The preparatory course will take place from September 14 to 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The course will be held in Piazzale Europa campus. No registration is required, and attendance is not mandatory, although it is strongly recommended to help ease your transition into university studies.

Preparatory Course in Introduction to Programming

We also encourage you to attend the preparatory course in Introduction to Programming before the official start of classes in September.

The course will take place from September 8 to 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The course will be held in Aula 4_INF_01, Building D (Piazzale Europa campus). No registration is required, and attendance is not mandatory, although it is strongly recommended to help ease your transition into university studies.

Class schedules and locations (complete with maps) can be consulted online and are published no later than two weeks before the start of classes:

  • For the 1st semester: from mid-September
  • For the 2nd semester: from mid-February

Schedules are subject to constant updates. Please check for any changes before attending classes and also review the Notices on the Department's website, especially at the beginning of the semester.
