Study Plan description

TAF - Bachelor's Degree

The Study Plan is based on six types of educational activities (TAF), each associated with a specific number of credits (CFU).

The total number of credits required is at least 180 credits.

The educational activities included are as follows:

  • TAF A: basic educational activities
  • TAF B: core educational activities
  • TAF C: related and supplementary educational activities
  • TAF D: educational activities freely chosen by the student, provided they align with the training plan
  • TAF E: activities related to
    • the final examination
    • assessment of knowledge of at least one foreign language
  • TAF F: additional educational activities, designed to provide additional language skills, IT and telematic skills, interpersonal skills, or other skills useful for entering the job market, as well as internship activities, including those with external institutions

The Study Plan for your cohort, which includes a list of the courses and other educational activities, is attached to the Academic Regulations and can be consulted on the Study Plan page. Any prerequisites are described in the study plan for your cohort.

TAF A, B, and C courses are either mandatory or optional. Optional courses (where available) must be indicated by filling out the study plan.
Activities under TAF F can vary and include internships, placements, work experience, and other recognised activities, subject to submission of appropriate documentation. Please refer to the dedicated pages for further information.

In addition to these educational activities, students may include elective courses (TAF D) in their Study Plan to tailor their own academic path based on personal interests and future career choices.

All elective courses are activated annually, so it is advisable to check each year that the courses you wish to attend are available. Courses added in subsequent years that are no longer available must be replaced by submitting a modification to the Study Plan.

Please note that, while the timetable for elective courses offered by the Study Programme is optimised to avoid conflicts with mandatory courses, compatibility with the timetable of your course cannot be guaranteed for other courses offered by different programmes; it should be checked by consulting the relevant class schedules.

Submit your Study Plan as described in the dedicated page, indicating your chosen optional and elective courses.

Additional information on elective courses

The elective courses (TAF D) that can be included in your Study Plan include:

  • courses activated annually and specifically developed for the educational objectives of the Study Programme
  • courses from other Study Programmes within the University, as long as they are consistent with the student’s educational pathway

Each year, elective courses are activated according to the annual programme.
